I was gifted something from Spirit.

Its some years ago this happened, but I want to tell you about it anyway :) I had for a time wished for dragonfly wings. I like collecting things from nature, and I see these things that I collect as treasures. As I collect things, I also find usage for them. I may use the items I find in witchcraft, when meditating or just as a symbol or a power item, when setting up an altar. Anyway.. I was going for a walk in spring time, when my gaze was suddenly pulled down towards the ground(btw, that is how I know I am gifted something, my eyes are strongly pulled strait to the item I am given). And there they were. Four beutiful dragonfly wings <3

I carried them in my hand for the rest of the walk :) I was so happy that I had been gifted them from spirit <3 Now they are fully dried, and I keep them in a sealed tiny jar. They are very frail. I told my dad about the wings I had found, and he then told me that the wings probably had ended up there because a bird had eaten the dragonfly. Its absolutely fascinating to see how things work out like that. I wished for dragonfly wings, but I only got them when a bird had its meal right before I went on my walk. Its just nature, that a bird eats a dragonfly. But I would never try to get the wings, by capturing and pulling the wings of a dragonfly. That would be a horrible thing to do..

I googled the meaning of dragonfly wings:

This probably was not the message for me though, since I had wished for the wings.. but if you suddenly find dragonfly wings, you now know what they symbolize :)
